Fairways Forever operates fairwaysforever.com and related private trip-planning, golf, scoring, and messaging services. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.

Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Fairways Forever, we may collect:

• Contact information, such as your name, email address, and mobile phone number.
• Trip information, such as attendance, travel, lodging, itinerary, and payment-status details.
• Golf information, such as player profile details, handicap information, pairings, teams, scores, and results.
• Messaging preferences and records of SMS consent, opt-out, and support requests.
• Technical information, such as browser type, device information, IP address, and basic usage or security logs.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate and secure Fairways Forever; coordinate trips; manage attendance, golf groups, scoring, and results; provide participant pages; send requested trip updates; respond to questions; maintain records; and improve the service.

Mobile Information and SMS Consent

If you opt in to Fairways Forever Trip Alerts through our SMS signup page, we use your mobile number and messaging consent information only to provide the messages you requested and administer the messaging program.

We do not share, sell, or provide your mobile phone number or messaging consent data to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, excluding aggregators and providers of the text messaging services necessary to deliver the messages.

Fairways Forever does not sell, rent, or disclose mobile phone numbers, SMS consent records, or opt-in data for marketing. Service providers that transmit messages may process this information only as necessary to deliver the Fairways Forever Trip Alerts requested by the participant.

Message frequency varies based on trip-planning activity and trip dates; participants can generally expect no more than eight messages per month during active periods. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance.

How We Share Information

We may share non-SMS information with service providers that support the website and trip operations; with trip organizers and participating members when needed to coordinate the trip; when required by law or to protect rights and safety; or as part of a reorganization or transfer of the service. We do not sell personal information.

These sharing categories exclude mobile information, text messaging originator opt-in data, and messaging consent. Those items are governed exclusively by the Mobile Information and SMS Consent section above.

Data Retention and Security

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain trip and competition history, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect the service. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no online system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your Choices

You may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. You may reply HELP for help. You may also contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.

Children

Fairways Forever is intended for adults participating in or following the golf trip and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date above identifies the latest version. Material changes will be posted on this page.
